I've not baked in quite some time and thought I'd do something that both me and my husband like, so after doing quite a bit of research I came across quite a few white chocolate banana bread recipes. I love banana bread and I love White Chocolate so I thought this would be such a good recipe to try out. I couldn't not use Mary Berry's recipe just because she is the best! :)

you will need:

100 grams of softened butter
175 grams of caster sugar
a pinch of salt
2 medium sized eggs
2 bananas
225 grams of self raising flour
1 tea spoon of baking powder
2 table spoons of whole milk
As many white choc chips or Milkybar buttons as you like (which is what i used)

You will need a loaf tin, I got this ceramic tub from Matalan, they have them in various sizes, this is the medium size and worked perfectly. I pre-heated the oven to 180 degrees and lightly greased my tin to avoid the cake sticking to the bottom.

You want to mash your bananas up into a bowl and then add in your butter, eggs, caster sugar and milk, give it a good ol' mix and then add in your flour and baking powder. I then added in my white chocolate which were giant milky bar buttons i just broke them up into quarters and probably used just less than half the bag.

Pour your mixture into your tin and pop into the oven to bake for around 30 mins, i then reduced the heat to 150 and baked for another 20 mins.

Try it for yourself! Hope you enjoy :)
