My First Charlotte Tilbury Product

Some of you would have noticed that I got a Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick for my Christmas, you can read my post here to find out what else I got. I have wanted a Charlotte Tilbury product for the longest time but in particular one of the lipsticks. I mean, really I want them all and all the other products so it was really hard to decide which shade to go for. After endless amounts of Googling swatches I decided I would go for the classic 'Bitch Perfect' shade and I am not disappointed.

However, I feel this has now fuelled my obsession more and I may be purchasing a lot more as opposed to just having a look on the internet and saving it to my basket. Hey, your allowed to treat yourself once in a while, every couple of weeks, every week? Right?!

First of all the packaging is just insanely beautiful I could stare at it all day, I really want to carry this around with me so I can gaze at it but think I would get rather upset if someone wanted to use it, I would let them but I'd be crying inside, family is all I go to with sharing make up. After that, hell no. #selfish problems haha.

The shade is a really nice coral nude and looks a lot more of a light coral shade on me than nude, I've looked at endless amount of swatches of this and it looks different on everyone. I'm pretty pale skinned, an NC15 in MAC foundation to give you a guide. You can see what it looks like on all skin tones here. I think this looks so pretty with shimmer eye make up, I use my MAC Warm Palette, you can see my review and swatches of it here

This is a cremesheen type of formula and is very pigmented, it does last quite a while on the lips but will wear off once eating a drinking which is to be expected with this type of formula. It's such a wearable shade and feels silky smooth on the lips easy to apply for those little top ups after eating.

This will set you back £23 which some may think is pretty expensive for a lipstick but they are amazing quality and that's what you are paying for and the name of course.  I am now hooked and will certainly be buying more, next on my list is Liv It Up. and Very Victoria.

Let me know in the comments below what your favourite lipstick is?
Love Gill x
