Beauty | My top 3 concealers

Hello Lovelies,

Something I always love to find is a good concealer and it's not always easy to find 'the one'.

I have used many concealers in my time and nothing so far beats these 3 concealers I am talking about today, which is;

Collection Lasting Perfection This is probably every bloggers best concealer, but it certainly deserves it's name up there. It's high coverage which lasts all day and hardly ever creases under my eyes, if my skin is slightly dry it will crease up but then most concealers will do this. At a steal of just over £4 it keeps me coming back to stock up. My shade is 'fair' which is the lightest one, I think there are only 3 or 4 shades in the range so that is the only downside for Collection.

Nars Creamy Concealer This was my first ever Nars product and I was not disappointed I have repurchased this a couple of times now and will certainly continue to. This is a thick creamy concealer and blends extremely well, they have a large variety in shades, I'm in Chantilly which is really light and it's great for brightening up under my eyes. A bit more pricey at £22 but worth it if you are looking for something high quality.

MAC Pro Longwear
Last but by no means least, Mac's pro longwear concealer, I have been using this the longest, I use it before foundation to conceal any darkness or blemishes I may have as it is high coverage it means you don't need to use a lot of foundation at all as this does all the covering. Great for using as a primer on the eyelids also. My shade is NC15 and it costs £17.50.
Let me know in the comments which concealers I should be trying out next?

Lifestyle | My Blogging Desk

Hello Lovelies
I thought I would give you all a bit of a sneak peek where I write my blogs on 'GillMcLaughlin'.
This is my little space for doing all my admin work, blog writing and occasionally blog photo's for that white background.

However I do usually type away on my laptop on the couch or in bed as that is usually the comfiest place to be along with a hot chocolate and some cookies. I'm not doing that right now though... honest!

The desk is the Micke desk from Ikea which costs £60. This is the perfect size desk for me at the moment, it's not too big but not too small as I still have room for some cute essential decorations.
I found it so hard to get a white chair that wasn't going to cost me a fortune so I got this white metal type fold up chair from habitat for £10 and just put a cushion on it along with a sheepskin rug draped over it from Ikea, also £10.

The little shelf above the desk is from Argos which cost around £15 but you can also get them from Ikea, I've just draped some fairly lights over it and decorated it with some cuteness.

If anyone can recommend where I can get a pink cushion for my chair I would love it if you could write in the comments below.

Beauty | Valentine Lover Lamp Bath

Hello Lovelies,
Hope you are all having a lovely Valentines and being spoilt or just spoiling yourself if you don't need a man ;)

I have spent my whole day lying on the couch as I haven't been feeling well at all and my tickly cough is refusing to budge! I have slowly been getting my way through chocolate cake which is all I have been eating today haha ooops.

I decided to get off the couch and use my Valentine's Lover Lamp bath bomb and I'm so glad I did as it smells devine, this has a very vanilla fruity smell to it. It doesn't explode with colours or make your water a gorgeous shade of pink, it does however have little red hearts floating around your bath which are packed with glitter.

The smell that comes from them are something else I rubbed them into my body, I wasn't sure if you were supposed to but I did haha and my skin has been left smelling amazing and very moisturised.

Let me know in the comments what you have done for Valentine's?

Beauty | The Experimenter

Hello Lovelies,
Hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend.
I had an amazing bath with The Experimenter bath bomb last night, I bought this in London Oxford Street when I went for a visit, it would be rude not to!
This bath bomb immediately grabs your attention with it's bright colours and unique shape, the scent definitely takes you by surprise, it has a very smoky aromatic scent and would definitely be suited to the male audience (scent wise).
When you pop this into your bath there is an explosion of colour, I couldn't quite get my camera ready for it.

My skin was left feeling very silky smooth and nourished and I could still smell some of the scent on me after I got out.
Be warned, your bath will have a coating of glitter afterwards but is very easy to clean and so worth it!
Have you used this bath bomb? Let me know what you think in the comments below
