Baking | Triple Chocolate Cookies

My husband and I were off to our friends yesterday so I decided to bake cookies to take with us, I was going to make some cupcakes too but ran out of time.

These went down a treat, they are stuffed with chocolate and very sickly after eating 1 but so worth it. The most indulgent cookies I have ever ate. I followed the Tanya Burr recipe to make these beauts, keep reading to find out how you can make them too;

You will need:

200g butter
300g Caster Sugar
1 large egg
275g self raising flour
75g cocoa powder
a dash of milk
3 large sharing bars of chocolate of your choice (I used milkybar, galaxy and dairy milk)

1) Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees (lower for a fan oven)
2) Cream together butter and sugar
3) add in our egg and mix well
4) sift in your flour and cocoa powder mixing well
5) break up all your chocolate and add in - much easier to use your hands to incorporate it all
6) Add a dash of milk if your mixture is a bit dry (I've never had to do this step as yet)
7) split your cookies into 10 balls and place on a baking tray, making sure they have plenty room as they will spread whilst cooking
8) bake for 11 mins, no longer than this as you don't want them to burn

Let me know if you enjoy a good cookie?!

Love Gill x
