It's that time again for me to share my monthly faves with you all. I swear it comes around faster every month!
May has been pretty quiet for me and I sort of lost a bit motivation for blogging, I've not taken part in any twitter chats and just felt a bit mehhh :( BUT I need to make more of an effort as I enjoy blogging so much.
So, moving on to why you are really reading this post. My monthly faves are;
Max Factor Blush
This is in the shade lovely pink - i think these are one of the best blushes i have used in a while!
Collection Mascara Clear
I use this to set my brows in place and it lasts me most of the day, have to touch up sometimes but it does last a long time - loving that
Benefit Roller Lash
At first I wasnt a fan of this but since i have left it a month and come back to it i absolutely love it and have been wearing it all the time.
L'Oreal Lipstick
I love this lipstick - I have just done a post on it so you can go on over and have a read

My Perfect Pink Lipstick

Does anyone else just lust over lipsticks? I think everyone has their favourite shades, mine being pink. I have no idea how many pink lipsticks I have from light to dark and love them all but this L'Oreal lipstick was just different, as soon as I swatched it I was just like I need this in my life.
This is what I would call my perfect pink shade, not too light and not too dark, has a slight shimmer to it. This is in shade 303, Rose Tendre and is from the Color Riche range specifically for blondes.
It has a very soft and creamy texture which keeps your lips feeling moisturised and pretty <3

I recommend pairing this with a lip liner so it lasts longer due to it's creamy texture it does tend to wear off faster than say matte shades.

At £6.99 I think this is a very reasonable price and I'm pretty sure Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on with L'Oreal at the moment so go in and pick one of their lippies up, you wont regret it :)
What is your perfect shade of lipstick?

Benefit Fake Up Concealer - Yay or Nay

So I needed wanted a new concealer, popped into Boots-obv. had a little wander around the drugstore aisles but found I had tried out quite a lot of them and really wanted to try something new which I had never used before. I decided I would treat myself and try out something more high-end so headed straight over to the Benefit counter and saw the Fake Up concealer. It immediately caught my attention as I have never tried anything like it, the shade I purchased was 01 Light.

It's a moisturising concealer which I thought would be perfect as I suffer from dry skin, especially at my under eye area. It glides on so smoothly and feels very refreshing and hydrating, also very easy to blend.
However, I did find that it started to wear off a lot quicker than my other concealers which is a real shame as it has a lovely application.

This retails at £18.50, I do really like this concealer but find myself sticking to my usual Collection concealer.
What is your favourite concealer? Let me know in the comments below.

Sundae on a Sunday

I bought these cute Sundae glasses a few weeks back and couldn't wait to come up with a little ice cream concoction. This is what I came up with.
Toffee sauce with raspberry ripple ice cream loaded with marshmallows throughout and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles for good measure.
I can't wait to keep using these glasses all throughout the summer and coming up with new sundae's, I have so many ideas, I can't wait to share them all with you.
What is your favourite kind of sundae?

Summer Ready Make Up - Acid Brights Palette

I was looking through all my eye palettes, as you do, and came across Make Up Revolution Acid Brights which I had never used before as I wasn't sure what looks to do with it.
You can see my dilemma with how to use this eye palette - the colours are fab, I just don't wear anything bold.
I went for a neutral colour from another palette over my lid then wet a brush and drew on the white as an eyeliner then went in with another wet brush and drew over that with the bright pink, first left.

On the bottom lashes I done the white and then went over it with the sparkly blue. I also had an eye liner which matched exactly so popped that into my waterline.
I was going to add falsies to this look as I thought it would make it pop even more but found I didn't have any :( #firstworldproblems
Let me know what you think? Would you go for something bold?

Too Faced Melted Lipstick: Melted Peony

First of all, can we just take a look at the packaging? Urgh, so cute.

I was browsing through YouTube watching some of my fave beauty guru's and saw Shaaanxo swatch these Too Face liquid lipsticks. As soon as I saw this video I just knew I had to own one of these, so off I toddled into town and popped into Debenhams and picked up Melted Peony.
This is a perfect nude/pink shade for everyday wear and I just love it sooo much!
It has a little sponge applicator which I found easy to apply, if you buy darker shades you will definitely need a lip liner or apply with a brush as it's not precise with the sponge application. For the lighter shades it's fine and can get away with it much better.

The formula is really nice, it glides on really easily, has a nice hint of gloss finish to it and isn't sticky at all. I swatched a few shades whilst I was in Debenhams (obv) and they were all super pigmented.

This retails for £19.00 which I think is pretty decent, you get 12ml of product so will last quite a while as you don't need much at all.

Have you used these Melted Lipsticks? Highly recommend. What other Too Faced products should I try?
